Three Uses for Dump Trailers
Are you renovating your home? Doing some heavy lawn work? Or maybe you’ve been snowed in. Regardless of your circumstances, if you have a large load to haul from one place to another, dump trailers are likely your best bet. Dump trailers are large, flat beds that can be attached to the back of a car and used to haul large volumes of debris.

Here are three of the most popular uses for them:
- Lawn waste. If you’re pruning your trees or raking up an unruly carpet of leaves, you probably have an unwieldy amount of branches and yard debris lying on your lawn. It won’t all fit in your trash bin, but it won’t do to have it composting in a pile until you can chip away at it all. If this is your situation, you might need to rent a dump trailer to toss all of it into so that you can dispose of it properly all at once.
- Snow. In areas that get a lot of snow, sometimes you and your neighbors will have an excess of snow to shovel. Instead of piling it in drifts along the side of the driveway or in heaps on the lawn, you can haul it away using a dump trailer.
- Building materials. If you’re renovating your home, you will often have chunks of drywall, support beams, and other building materials that need to be taken away. If you have a dump trailer parked in the driveway, you can remove the waste throughout the day and take it away in the evening.
These are some of the most common ways to use dump trailers, but the sky is the limit for what you can use them for — if you want something moved, and it fits, then that’s basically all you need.
