Three Things to Cook on BBQ Trailers
When cookout season rolls around, you can’t go wrong with BBQ trailers. These portable BBQs will make you the star of any cookout, neighborhood meetup, or outdoor party you find yourself at. But shopping for BBQ trailers is only the first step — once you have one, what should you cook with it?
- Baby back ribs. Like most BBQ recipes, these are about as simple or complicated as you want to make them. For a standard recipe, trim the membrane sheath off the back of the ribs, and then apply as much spice rub as you want. Typical rubs include spices like cumin, chili powder, and paprika, with salt and pepper to taste, but you’re free to use whatever you think would make your ribs distinctive. Put some aluminum down under the grate to prevent drippings, turn the heat to low, and cook for about an hour for some great-tasting ribs the whole crowd will love.
- Burgers. A BBQ classic. Fresh-make your patties or throw on some frozen ones from the store, toast up some buns on the side, and let your friends and family pick out their own toppings and condiments.
- Corn ribs. For a vegetarian option or just a tasty side, try corn ribs! Cut a corn cob into strips — leaving the cob intact so that all the kernels are still attached — and toss them in a large bowl with oil, paprika, and onion powder. Cook the corn kernel-side down for 6-8 minutes, or until the kernels have blackened and the cob has curled up into a rib shape. Toss in garlic butter and serve!
With these recipes, your family and friends will be talking about you and the food you brought for the rest of the year! If you’re interested in purchasing BBQ trailers, make sure to check out our offerings.
